Bull On A Black Rock #33
Bull On A Black Rock #33
This series of paintings explores the vulnerability of the strong. The bull represents us - with our convictions of purpose, our courage to be who we are, and our willingness to persevere - which are our prime sources of strength. The black rock in the foreground is the platform - either built by us, or inherited by good fortune - which provides us the opportunity to express ourselves - and show what we can do. The sky, the sun and the moon represent the ecosystem and the interplay of circumstances - and our inspiration and our luck - that provide us with the conditions to perform.
And then we come face to face with our self belief and self doubt:
Yes, I can. Or. Can I?
